Ok, so I don't know how to spell babooshka, but it is the name my Mom used to call me and my sisiter when we got out of the bath and she was wrapping us up in a towel. And there's a winnie the pooh in here too. Poor Flannery, she was saying she felt cold. A little flag went up, my kids are never cold. I was going to take her temp, but when she refused my suggestion of a sweater I thought nothing more about it. Then she fell asleep sitting up. Again not a big deal, as they were up late last night. But after she woke up she was just laying there. Hmmmm, I went over there and felt her head, hot. Yuck. So she has a 102. But she still wants to come outside with us. I think it would be good to get some fresh air. I put on her sweats and she looked so cute I had to take the pic.
Thanksgiving was a hit. Everything went well. I made the new green bean casserole. It turned out great! I will do that one again. Flannery loved Nanna's homemade creanberry sauce. She had three helpings! It was really yummy. It was a cool, breezy day, so we were able to go for a nice walk. Unfrotuneately the boy down the street (8 or 9) was riding his dirt bike around. That freaked out Saoirse. She was holding my hand and walking, but got scared and wanted me to carry her. Boy was my back sore after that. She is getting big. Poor thing started sneezing a few times yesterday and I got suspicious that she may be coming down with something. Sure enough, she woke up today stuffy and a bit warm. Yuck.
Check out this cute picture taken a few weeks ago of our little movie star. Too cute. Although she can only do non-speaking roles. She will be 19 months old in a couple of days and she still doesn't talk. Go figure. I'm sure she'll have something to say sooner or later. She has no problems with screeching.
Well it looks like it will take me a few days to work off the Thanksgiving indulgences. I have been eating very well. But boy, I enjoyed myself yesterday. Yum. Now the work begins. It is a cold day today, but the girls really want to go outside. We actually got all our work done early today (cleaning, school..)so they got to watch a bit of Animal Planet and in a minute we'll go outside. Flannery just woke up from her nap. I'll have to take a picture of my curly scarf that I made. I didn't think it would be very comfortable, but it is. I'll be wearing it today to keep the chill out. And all you northerners can just hush about my "cold" weather :-)

The girls and I have been busy putting together some dishes in advance for tomorrows festivities. We made Cranberry Orange Bread, Sweet Potatoe Casserole and Angus' Barn Chocolate Pie. I als cut some onions up for tomorrows new take on the green bean casserole. I found it in a magazine while in the doctor's waiting room. It sounds good. I had the kitchen all cleaned, but now it's a disaster again. So it will be a quick cleaning for tomorrow morning.
I have just recently started the T-Tap exercise videos (the girls join me during various time throught out the video). And boy, do my legs ache!! I wanted to do the "bootcamp" which is at least 4 days in a row. Well I got two days in, then had to take a day off! It's hard stuff.
I'm gonna see if I can find some cute pics from Halloween. I hope I pic the right ones, as the thumbnails are hard to figure out. Here goes: Well it put it in the wrong spot, but that's ok. The first picture is of Isa as a Cowgirl. She was very excited to find this costume at the toy store. A big hit!
Here are all the girls together. The younger three were puppy dogs. It would have been cute if they were horses, but we still pretended that they were all working on the range. They were herding horses or cows or something of that nature. Soirse caught on really quick that you hold out your pumpkin and you get candy. So after a couple of houses she would start "grunting" and pointing to the next house, so get some more treats. The next time we went for a walk it happened to be night out, and there was Saoirse grunting and pointing at the houses. She figured the Halloween thing should be a weekly event.
Well it's getting late and we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow. We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

So much happens around here! Now please do not be upset if you were hoping to get a personal call about our good news. I am putting this here, so as to make sure everyone gets the news. I don't want anyone to fall through the cracks. Our good news is, if you noticed my blogs' title then it will make sense....
Our hands are about to get fuller!!!
We are EXCITED to anticipate a new Pechin come this July!!! Please note the bold word :-) We know that not everyone shares our same convictions on family size, but we ask everyone to rejoice with us. We feel very blessed to have another blessing on the way. The due date is July 10th. I am 6 weeks along right now. I feel pretty good. I get a bit queasy here and there and get very tired by 9 pm. Other than that all is well. In the past the "real" all day sickness started between 6-8 weeks, so this wee bit of queasiness could get a lot worse.
The girls are all VERY excited as well. They can not stop talking about the new baby. Or in Flannery's case: the new babies (that's what she says). They are all hoping for a boy, especially Isabella. Isabella has been hoping for a boy since when I was pregnant with Flannery. Now just for the record, we were not trying for a boy. We would of course be very happy if we could add some blue around the house, but we will be just as tickled with more pink. And anyways, I'm pretty used to pink by now, pink is what I know! I won't know what to do if we had a boy!!! Ha, ha!
This baby will bring a lot of changes around here. We need to redo the bedroom situation, and figure out how to get our van to accommodate us all. But we know that the Lord will work it all out. And Lord willing we will have another homebirth. We've had the last two at home and look forward to welcoming this baby at home as well.
Well, there is schooling to finish up and a bit more sunlight left to run outside for a quick break. Enjoy your day.
